At Lancot we encourage parents to become involved in the life of the school both in assisting during school hours and to provide additional facilities and activities for children outside of the school day.

All parents enjoy automatic membership of the Lancot Home and School Association (LHASA), which supports the school in many ways. As well as being involved in fundraising, LHASA arranges a number of social events for both parents and children. Due to LHASA’s successful fundraising the school is well resourced and the children are able to enjoy a number of activities we would not be able to fund otherwise.

An important aspect of a child’s development is to appreciate the wider community in which they live. To this end we support many local charities with fundraising events.

We live in a multicultural society with many different nationalities and backgrounds contributing to a vibrant school community. It is important that our children are able to experience as many different aspects of this as possible. At Lancot the children take part in numerous projects that focus on the cultural and religious diversities of our society.

To help to fund some of the activities of the school we offer parts of the premises for use by outside clubs and organisations. These can be hired for regular or one off events.
