  School Uniform

We would like all the children at Lancot to wear our distinctive and practical uniform. Parents are asked to support us by ensuring their children come to school appropriately and sensibly dressed.

The children look so lovely and smart when they are in their full uniform - it can make children self-conscious to be different.

Our dominant colours are grey and yellow.

Correct school uniform garments are:
Grey trousers/skirts/pinafore dresses/tights.

Plain yellow polo shirts/blouses

Grey jumpers/cardigans/sweatshirt (no hoodies).

Yellow gingham dresses or Grey shorts for the summer.

Black shoes must be suitable for a school environment e.g. no high heels; (If your child has to wear trainers, please ensure they are black).

We do not expect the children to wear nail polish or flip flops.

FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS, EARRINGS OF ANY DESCRIPTION ARE NOT ALLOWED.

It is advisable for the children to wear sun hats in the summer.
Navy shorts, white T-shirts and black plimsolls are needed for PE and swimming costumes, swimming hats and poolside shoes are needed for the second half of the Summer term (please note that swimming goggles are not permitted).

Foundation Stage children will need wellies for walking around the grounds.

We also have personalised reversible fleece lined jackets, P.E. bags and book bags with the school logo. The school has its own uniform shop online at  http://www.yourschooluniform.com/schools/LancotLowerSchoolLU62AP/ Items personalised with the school logo may be purchased from here. If you do not have access to a computer please contact the school office.

Please ensure all items of clothing are named.

In order to pevent the school office being overwhelmed by unclaimed lost property we are starting a new system.

All unnamed lost property will be kept for one week only. After a week, any unnamed, unclaimed items will be recycled or sold to raise funds for the school.
