Lancot Lower School has networked, broadband access that enables pupils and teachers to access information and resources within the school. We can now extend the school's network so that it offers access to learning resources, online storage and tools for communication and management not just within school, but from outside it too, through a Learning Platform.
A Learning Platform is an online resource which brings together hardware and software to enable more effective ways of working within and outside the classroom.
Every child from 4+ to Year 4 has a Learning Platform which they can use within school and can be used at home. This could contain games, activities, homework and worksheets that the teacher feels may extend the pupils learning. Some activities may not be accessible from home as these will be completed within school.
To make it easier to use we have made the Virtual classes as Year group pages and there is no need for your child to have an individual log on.
We hope you will find the Virtual classes useful and helpful in understanding what your children are learning at the moment.
